Just Thanks. .

October 31, 2013

I just wanted to say thank you for all the thoughts and comments and support over the last 5 months and especially after chucks passing. I feel bad not mentioning everyone, but know nothing went unnoticed or ignored. The constant support and cheering us on made this whole experience so much more bearable. Last year chuck and jake dressed as twins, and this year chuck was to be a super hero to Jakes iron man. But In truth, he didn’t need a Costume to be a hero. Hes been that since day one. He fought his disease with the utmost dignity and never once did he let it break his Spirit. Never once did he show any weakness or pain. He was happy and playing til the very end. He was the very definition of a hero. IMG_20131031_013725So now we heal. I had one heck of a dog. He taught me how to be strong even when I wanted to crumble. How lucky am I? Happy Halloween everyone.

Oori, I’m sobbing, I am really. That was sooooo beautifully said.

You said everthing that ever needed to be said about Chuck and could not have summed up who he is, what he stood for, any better

He indeed is Professor Chuck to all of us. We also learned so much from him. He is a role model of courage for all of us. The dignity that you mentined…yes, he defined that this entire journey. And yes, he is the definition of hero to all of us.

And Lori! Every single tribute you so beautifully bestowed upon Chuck…..look in the mirror and know the same is true about you. The courage, the dignity, the strong spirit, the strong will, never lettingmthis disease break you…..these are all the traits Chuck and this community, see in you.You two are a team and always will be.

I hope, when you can, you will cntinue to post n Chuck’s blog. As time helps heal the wholein your heart and fillit with the wonderful memories of Chuck, we would love to hear more “clips” from his life. That gentle giant will live in our hearts forever. This blog will help all of us to heal and to remind ourselves to “be more Chuck”!

Tucking you safely in our hearts tonight, right next to Chuck’s corner!!

You did that? I have been touched so deeply by this……thank you for sharingit withmus.

    Love and light,

I LOVE that’s your mom’s favorite song and this picture nvokes it! Now THAT is what you call a message from your mom AND Chuck! And I’m serious!

Athey are defitely together watching over you! Did your mom get to meet Chuck here on earth? Regardless, they are together now.

Your pain is too deep right now to feel their presence, but I jave NO doubt that the sng is a message. I’m honored to be selected as their vehicle!
